Description

Crimpable Clevis Cable End – Home Gym Cable Connector

This is a crimpable clevis cable end, a heavy-duty connector used to attach a gym cable directly to moving parts like weight stacks, arms, or brackets. It combines a crimp-on cable termination with a clevis (fork + pin) connection, making it both strong and flexibl

🔧 What It’s Used For
● Connecting gym cables to moving components
(weight stacks, lever arms, selector plates)
● Creating a pivoting connection point
so the cable can move freely without binding
● Replacing worn or broken cable ends in home gym systems

⚙️ How It Works
1. Cable is inserted into the shank
The steel cable goes into the cylindrical base.
2. Crimped (swaged) in place
A crimping tool permanently locks the cable inside.
3. Clevis end attaches with a pin/bolt
The forked end connects to a bracket or moving part using a pin.
4. Allows movement under load
The clevis design lets the connection pivot as the cable moves.
